My Hugs Can Be Pretty Incredible

With nothing but school for... gosh... a year and a half straight..

And with Rob having practically 5 weeks of vacation time..

We have tried to have as much fun as possible while being the most lazy people on the planet.

And boy are we good at it.

Last week, however, I think we were somewhat productive.

And it's that productivity that I want to share with you.

Something very special happened for me last week and I will remember it for the rest of my life.

Because of my very generous and incredibly handsome and witty Grandfather, I was able to go into a recording studio to record a CD.

I cannot even put into words the excitement I felt, or how wonderful it was to sing in that environment.

I have no idea what will come of it, and it was purely just for the experience, but I wanted to share some of the songs with you.

Who knows, there might be some songwriters out there, producers maybe, possibly family friends that could help make me famous, that just so happen to read my blog?

Now wouldn't that be incredible.

Anyways..

Below is a link to my PureVolume page.

I don't normally like promoting myself on here, but I figure I should reach out to the cyber world.

If you like what you hear, can you make a profile and become my fan?

The more fans, the better my chances..

And honestly, who doesn't like fans?

I can't promise much right now, but trust me...

My hugs can be pretty incredible.

A Picture Overload

Because just packing and moving to the new place would be boring and easy, we decided to go on vacation in the middle of it all.

We packed up, quickly cheered Robert on through graduation, and literally the next morning we started our journey.

We drove to Cedar, parked our U-Haul in my Aunt's Aunt's Driveway and continued on to our destination.

So I guess you could say we were technically homeless for a bit in between.

After many years of begging, my Grandfather decided to take the whole family to Lake Powell like the good ole' days.

It was so fun to get the entire family together.

I honestly felt like it had been so long since we were all in one place.

Even just getting to be with my brothers and sister was exciting because usually when we have visited home in the past, they were all in school.

We were without the Internet, without Cable, without Cell Phones..

It was such a great vacation...

And with Carson going off to college in a week.. a mission in about 9 months..

That just starts the domino affect within my family.

After he leaves, its just a matter of time before the next one goes.. and the pattern keeps continuing..

I love my family so much and every moment we get to spend together means so much to me.

Rather than go through each individual day, talk about what I loved most, bore you to death... I'll just show you some pictures, summing up the entire trip.

And by some, I mean close to 100.

Get ready for a picture overload.

Class of 2011

There  has been so much that has happened within the past month that one post just wont do things justice.

As most of you are probably aware, we made the big move to Vegas at the end of July.

Packing within the last week of college was probably not our best idea ever...

But with the help of family, we made it work.

I didn't take many pictures, but here is a snapshot of the move..

And basically the last week in Idaho.

And yes, I'm missing it like crazy.
And why did we move you ask?

My wonderful Husband graduated College!!!
We are so proud of him and all the hard work he put in to get us to this point.

The road was not always easy, far from easy at some points, but he was persistent and worked hard to get to that finish line.

It hasn't been until recently that it is finally starting to sink in that we will never be going back to Idaho..

Never attending BYU again..

I can't say there will not be more school for him in the future, but this was such a big milestone on his educational journey.

Amidst all the packing, all the craziness of getting those last tests and finals completed, it really never sank in..

Thankfully we got some pictures to prove that it really did happen and we didn't just dream it up!

WOOOHOOO FOR ROBERT!

You Can Stop Crying Now

Yes - We are still alive.

Of course, among everything, blogging hasn't been on the top of my list.

My writing days have been on hold... partly because of this move, and partly because my computer decided to die on us.

Did I mention that?

Yes, when you need them the most, they crash... and for no reason too, which is always comforting.

But have no fear... I just got a call from Apple and all is well in the Brantingham Family.

Not only is she ready for pick-up, but the final bill happily agreed with our wallet.

$0.00

Gotta love them apples.

I guess I need to keep saying those prayers.

We'll talk soon though...

You can stop crying now.
