I tried

So... I tried. I really did even though it doesn't really show itself on here. 

I tried to be creative and sentimental, and all it did was put more pressure on me to keep up this blog... making so that I really had less time to keep up this blog, and these sweet little letters just can't continue.

 In the meantime I haven't even blogged about Rob's birthday 2 months ago, and then this recent incredible vacation we took... It takes too much thought and creativity to be sentimental on command.

So, I am commanding myself to stop. 

I will put all these little updates into a book one day, and then when our children are older and can read them, that will be sentimental enough. 

Phew... So glad I got that out of the way. I feel like I am letting down a child who doesn't even know, or even care.

 Now I can just write and hopefully something ingenious will come from it. 

As of lately, however... We finally found out that we are having a baby.. 

Boy!!!!

This is where we would post a picture of that first moment of excitement like most people do, but Elyse isn't that great at pictures. And to be honest, the moment was more surreal than anything else. He now has an identity, and for some reason that makes all of this so much more real for us. 

We are SO incredibly excited to welcome this cute little boy into our lives. So much so that we constantly daydream about what he will be like, the things we will teach him, Rob hoping that he will love football... 

We just cannot wait to meet you Baby Boy Brantingham.
