One Year of Love

Thanks to my self-timer.. I got these beauties. No, I did not want to include my face for fear of feeling absolutely ridiculous. I was already by myself, taking pictures of my belly.. I didn't want to take it a step further and smile for the camera.

But Self-Timer is a tricky one....

I know, over kill..

I just wanted to make sure you got the picture.

I was also a little disappointed for how tiny this belly of mine looks in these pictures. It feels so gigantic, and then I see it.. and well, I guess it's not that gigantic.

Yesterday we celebrated our One Year Anniversary from this special day...

It is incredible what can happen in a year, and boy do I love this man even more than I did that day.

We celebrated by going out to dinner Saturday night (thank you mom and dad!), and then Sunday I made a big mexican meal.

This is what the kitchen looked like at the end of it all...

A kitchen like this could either mean two things - a lazy bunch of people, or a gosh darn good meal!

We werent supposed to do gifts, at least that was the rule I made. I figured, with us only having one car to our name, it would be easy to make sure Rob stuck with it..

I'm not complaining though!

I absolutely LOVE this woman, and am SO happy my sweet Husband added her to my kitchen!

I have already tried this recipe.. I feel like crying just thinking of how it tasted on my tongue!

Please, for your own good, make this today.. You will NOT be sorry!

Other than that, our life just consists of homework.

With Rob at 17 units in the classroom, and me with my 21 units online.. We really don't get out of the "study mode" much.

It has been so nice to have a study partner though. I know this last leg of my educational journey would be that much harder if I didn't have someone working right along side me.

He's much more focused than I am, so I am hoping that will rub off on me soon. In fact, I cannot stand silence of any kind... so our study time usually results in me getting a lecture, or the threat of being sent to the "Dungeon" (that being our second bedroom). Just the thought of being without a person scares me, the silence is even worse back there, so I try to keep quiet.

I did, however, recently convince him to let the TV sound softly in the background.

Noise is just so comforting.

My study corner..

His study corner..

So please pray for us. We need to get through school alive, and this semester just might kill us.

We also got a very cute package this past week.

Grandma is already getting started and we were SO excited for Baby Boy Brantingham to have something of his own. Not to mention the fact that they are so gosh darn cute!

However, when I get mail from home, it makes me miss these wonderful people.

I know this isn't my whole family, but I just absolutely love this picture of Caelum.

I can't even put words to it. It just speaks for itself.

first of all, let me clarify...that is not a big belly. like your mom says, you are little everywhere else. i on the other hand was like a swollen pig...so count your blessings!! and i think i need to go out and buy that cookbook...and then go on another diet to compensate for the splurge. congrats...you are darling!!
