This is what we woke up to this morning...
Not exactly the sight you want to see when you are already running late from a dirty diaper.
We cannot wait to get out of the snow.
You have to plan everything ahead ahead of time, just so that you do not freeze when you get in the car... or just so that you have time to scrap the ice and snow off.
I don't like having to be overly prepared, being prepared is hard enough.
Well... Today was our first day at church with the little man.
No, he didn't wear these Monkies.. but he is just so cute.
And he was sooo good today.
I was so worried that I would be in the hallway the entire time.. and honestly, I kept wondering what the heck was going on.
He had a minor fit during sacrament so I had to go nurse him.
I tell ya though... I felt like I was in this new sorority sisterhood of sorts being in that mother's lounge.
I actually thoroughly enjoyed myself.
The chairs were awesome, the company even better...
The "secret mother's club" and now I am part of it.
I am sort of proud.
But this little guy is just giving us all the smiles in the world.
Whether those are tired ones, happy ones, sarcastic ones.. It doesn't matter.
At least we are still smiling!
I mean... How could you not find this guy hysterical??
Now I totally get what my Aunt was saying when she talked about the humor you find in your children.
It honestly makes me wonder what we found funny before, because this little booty is so much better.
And! We got a swing!
Best money we have ever spent... Money for me to remain sane.
He will finally let me put him down, and I will be honest... sometimes I just pick him back up because I get annoyed that he doesn't miss me..
So maybe its a process for both of us.
So far these past couple of weeks Ross has accomplished so much.
His bowels are working just great.
In fact, I have never changed this many diapers in my life.
Just when you think you've got him clean...
He is starting to be better with his baths.
I have to make the water decently warmer, but heck.. We live in the arctic so the poor kid was probably screaming because he was cold.
He is a really good eater.
In fact, I am super surprised by how much goes in...
Although it is certainly comparable to how much goes out.
And he just loves his Daddy..
So much that he wanted to be involved in the building of his swing.
This is his Daddy's drill...
And if you look closely there is pee all over it.
The kid was nowhere close.
His aim is incredible.

And if you think he's funny now, just wait until he starts to talk! I'm loving all the smiling pictures! I can't wait to see him!
Ah, how hilarious about his aim! How did I know from your title that that was going to be part of your post? Little boys are amazing like that. Ours got it in his ear once. So funny. It's not as funny when it happens in the mother's lounge at church ;)
