This Too Shall Pass

Yesterday my Monkey Baby had to go to the Doctor to get circumcised.

Poor little guy.

I guess it wasn't helping his manhood much when Mom put him in this duck hat on top of everything else.

His face just screams "Are you serious?"

But this cute little guy did much better than we thought.

I couldn't stay in the room - because seriously, what Mom could?

But Rob said that he was really good and the Doctor said that he was the best baby he has had. 

Rob is hoping this means we definitely have a football player on our hands.

I don't think I want to wish that my child has a high pain tolerance though.

I could just stare at this face all day long.

Seriously the cutest kid alive..

I can now see how parents get such big heads on their shoulders.

And no, this isn't the best picture... But here is one for my Aunt Nikki..

Yes, Monkey Baby has a mother.

There is only one picture of me on his Birthday, but only because we don't want him remembering me like that.

And then since we have been home I haven't gotten off the couch much.. 

Another thing we don't really want to document.

But I am slowly coming back.

Yesterday we went to Walgreens after the Doctors and I thought my legs were going to fall out from underneath me because I was shaking so badly..

I guess I need to be taking even babier of baby steps.

This too shall pass..

I just have to keep telling myself that.
