It's funny how overwhelmed you can feel in the midst of all this planning. I want it to come together perfectly, and there are so many little details that you have to make sure you cover. I have this idea in my head of how I want things to look, and so far I seem to be carrying out that vision. Last week I found my wedding dress! A HUGE accomplishment, and something I didn't think would happen. I would post pictures on here but we cannot spoil the surprise. Not only did I get my dress, everything but shoes, but I got the bridesmaid gowns, as well as the flower girl. Now if we can just figure out what the boys and mothers will be wearing we will be set! Here is the bridesmaid dresses... color is pewter, grayish .. style somewhat the same... but envision a shorter cardigan - we must stay modest!
No, we haven't finalized the groom yet... but here is something I was thinking. Wouldn't he be stunning!?
I love the color of the suit.. the tie would have to be a solid of some sort, and a darker blue.. but are we getting the feel yet? And then lets finish again with the flowers..
So, not everything is perfect to color or style, but this is a feel for the look I am going for. Grayish for the girls, ivory for me, charcoal for the boys, bright colors coming through with the flowers and ties... A very classy feel. I'm getting more and more excited each day that passes. We also have the invitations all planned out and ready to be printed, we just have to order the paper. We are making them ourselves - yes, crazy, but the more money to save, the better! Now, if only I would just get some homework done, then I wouldn't be stressing as much. Weddings are just much more fun.
