It's Ok, You Can Admit You Blog Stalk Too

Yes, I finally started packing up our stuff.

I don't know why but the other day I just got tired of looking at it all...

I sometimes get extremely tired of talking about doing things and just need to start doing them.

It was this way with packing.

So I just got up off the couch and started doing.
I got a good dent in our books, rolled away our rug, took down the curtains...

Even Ross just keeps staring at the empty wall wondering what the heck happened.

But it always feels good to be productive.
I know, the hat is super silly but I just had to see him in it since he used to wear it a couple months ago.
Even he had had enough of it after a couple shots, but I just couldn't stop laughing.
I got a serious case of the giggles when it started to scoot up his head on its own, just based off the size difference.
But alas, he had had enough.

These were taken right before Rob and I actually went on a date.

I know, I was pretty proud of ourselves too.

It was the first, well second, date we have been on his entire life.

He is still super young, so I don't feel like a complete loser just yet..

But it was so weird to be without him.

I mean, look at this face.

We cannot get enough.
He just had to flex his muscles for the camera.
And tell you which direction your beach ball went.

Oldest trick in the book.
But this was his Daddy's Day outfit... since it had Daddy on it and since he looked so cute and actually kept this hat on.
We decided to treat today like Father's Day just because you can't really go out on Sunday's.

With us being the poor college students that we are, seeing a movie in the real movie theaters are a real treat.

Rob wanted to see Super 8, so we decided to go...

But only if it was the matinee so we could save a buck or two.

Then we decided to be even cheaper and sneak in frozen yogurt.

I know, we felt extremely rebellious.

On the drive down to Idaho Falls, which usually consists of an average of 20 min. intervals of crying..

It was silent.

All the sudden we heard some rattling.
I swear to you.. I put a baby to bed, and a bigger baby woke up this morning.

I honestly dont know what it was..
He has noticed his toys in the car, but not enough to be distracted by them, or even to want to touch them.

Today he noticed them.
He didn't cry once.

It was the weirdest drive.

So then we saw the movie, which was fantastic..

You should certainly try and see it if you get a chance.

The main director kid was my favorite.

But we soon realized that we really didn't have the baby we used to have.

He talked throughout most of the movie.

I felt so bad for the people in the theater, thankfully consisting of older generations so hopefully they thought it was cute instead of annoying..

But I finally had to stand in the side hall and watch it from there so that he couldn't be heard.

Not only that, but he jumped at necessary parts, grabbed my neck when he was scared...

So I told Rob that we have officially reached the moment where we cannot do movies without getting a babysitter.

He knows too much now.

We then took a scenic drive, since the bambino was well entertained...

I can honestly say that Idaho really is a beautiful place without snow.
All in all, it was a really nice day..

Now on to tomorrow where I have to cook the best meat in the world for my main man!

A Happy early Father's Day to all you Dads out there..

Because I know for a fact you read my blog.

It's ok, you can admit you blog stalk too.

Sounds like you had fun. I heard that Super 8 is really good movie. I hate to tell you though, but it's NOT really a date if you bring the baby along. haha
