Pros/Cons

Obviously we are supposed to find the beauty in everything. I've been taught that from a young age, so its no wonder that I would try to do the same here in Idaho.

Pro: I have my own Kitchen. I have everything placed where I like it. I know where everything is. I can cook in it whenever I want.. And its mine. There is a huge sense of pride in that.

Con: I seem to have left my cooking skills behind in California because everything I cook seems to look like this...

I am convinced that the altitude messes everything up. So when the recipe says cook for 10 minuets, what it really means in high places, is that you should cook for 3. The first rack of cookies looked perfect, in fact I am eating one right now, but then again the second rack looked like this.

Of course, my wonderful Husband ate them anyways. He's cute like that.

So note to self: never put anything on the second rack in the oven, and never take your eye off of them, because then you will never impress anyone with your cooking skills.

Pro: We have a membership to Sam's Club. I honestly didn't think it would come in handy, but it does when you need flour.

The bigger one is from Sam's, the smaller from the average grocery store... Obviously Sam's wins. When we purchased this large flour, it was under the impression that I would be cooking bread instead of purchasing bread. This is a Pro as well, because who doesn't enjoy fresh bread?

Con: I have yet to figure out this bread making business. I have figured out White bread, and white bread  looks and tastes great. I tried to conquer the arts of wheat, and look what came of it...

Don't worry, it looks just as bad as it tastes. I have no idea what to call this lump, but it is certainly not bread.

Pro: Rob started school. He started school and he is really liking school. Steven is in one of his classes, which is a good thing. And he likes the fact that he walks home from school, mainly because of the excersize. I like what this school thing is doing to him. I can already tell he is much happier.

Con: More units means more homework. More homework means less Elyse. It was very hard not to talk to him while he was doing homework. I love to talk to him.

Pro: My Dad has always said that AAA is a necessity. He says that no matter where you are in life, or what your financial situation is, that you should never let your AAA laps. There is always room for AAA in your life.

Con: We actually had to use that AAA card this morning because our car wouldn't start. With the temperature in the negatives, it seems like our battery froze. Poor Rob had to practically run to school this morning and I am sure he was freezing.

They came pretty quickly.. charged my battery, and now I am off to see if we can get a stronger battery. Looks like Idaho people have strong batteries. I'm an Idaho people now too, so strong battery here I come.

My poor baby isn't used to the cold just yet. Definitely a Con.
