The Rexburg Temple

Last night after dinner, dishes.. you know the drill.. Rob suggested we go walk around the temple. For those of you who have never seen the Rexburg Temple, you are certainly missing out. It is beautiful. Just beautiful. It's not one of those smaller temples either, and it sits on a hill so you can see it throughout the entire city. I think thats very symbolic in many ways. No matter where you are in Rexburg, you can always look to the Temple.

It was freezing outside, we weren't dressed very appropriately for the cold and we have no idea why, but we walked the grounds anyways. One thing I have noticed about this temple, that says a lot about this town, is that the parking lot is never empty. Every single time we have driven past it, the parking lot is always filled to capacity. To say that Rexburg knows its temple duties is certainly an understatement.

Just walking around the temple made me want to go inside. We haven't had a chance to go to the temple just yet, but after last night, we will be making sure we go before the month is over.

Just look at how spectacular this place is...

And in the cold you always find little surprises that make you smile.. the Temple grounds are no different..

Welcome to Rexburg!

That looks just like ours!! The temple, I mean. The Oquirrh Mountain temple just up the street from us. They must have used the same plan.
