Thank you

It's been a hard couple of days. Not nessecarily wedding problems, but just life and the issues that tend to come with that. I thought I had resolved it all yesterday, but today it came right back, and so to cheer me up, My mom and her dear friend Shawna took me to the flower mart in carlsbad. She will be doing the flowers and she was letting us into her world of florists. It was an incredible place, full of every flower you could think of. I didnt bring my camera, so you wont be able to see it, but I did take pictures of our finished purchases. There will be some mock bouquets made-up so we can get a feel for how things will work. It definately brightened my mood, as flowers always seem to do. Thank you both, but thank you Shawna for being so willing to help on this very special day. I appreciate your efforts greatly and know it will look stunning no matter what. Here is just a taste to see how things are coming...

These, I think, are stunning. We saw this deep purple and just loved it, and even though it is on the deeper side, it will be used for depth... and quite frankly we just liked it so much that it will be used regardless. Then you have the lighter ones, which are more green than this picture shows. Yummy is all it makes me think!

Here is a group shot of them all. You can see the purples, the greens, and the blues will come through the feathers. I am laughing as I write this because you probably think I am crazy for thinking this will all flow, but trust me. I'm working with a vision and my visions are always spot on.

I love these flowers. We are hoping to get a flower ball out of these. Have you ever seen those? They are the cute balls of flowers that are usually carried by the flower girl. I just thought little Ashlynn would be so adorable with a little flower ball on her arm. Cross your fingers!

Here are my flowers. Yes, it looks a little crazy right here but I promise it will come together. These are the colors I am going for, so we shall see what they come up with tomorrow! Mock-up bouquet to come!

Here is the combo, and I am pretty proud of it. The ties in the background are for the groomsmen, the head band will be for the flower girl, and there is Rob's incredible tie.

Here is Rob's tie again. I think he will be seeing it for the first time on here, so lets cross our fingers he likes it! You've seen it incorporated with the ties the groomsmen will be wearing, and I think it all goes well. It helps him stand out, even though his good looks do that already!

When we got Rob's suit he found a pair of socks that he became attached too, so we thought the groomsmen and dads/grandpas should not be left out of the fun.

Here are the peacock feathers I have been fondly speaking of. You will see these beauties throughout, don't you worry about that.

My shoes! They are so comfortable, and the heel is not large at all. They fit my foot so well, with a little room for swelling due to the mass amounts of time on my toes. We are going to have them dyed to a deep purple of sorts, and I am just so obsessed with this bow!

Yes it seems confusing, but these are my accomplishments this week. Literally, as of yesterday. I feel good about my choices, and I cannot wait to see the mock bouquet when it is ready! Yes, it has been a tough week thus far but everything happens for a reason, both good and bad things, and I will hold my head higher and press forward, continually doing the best that I can. Thank you to all of you for your support, it means so much to me and I am so grateful and honored that you would want to share this day with me. This is a celebration for what's to come, and a celebration to everything that has brought me here. So, thank you. These are the days I will always remember.
