It's officially October, which is killing me by the way, but it means I can officially start saying that it is Fall.
Everyone seems to be getting out their decorations and their festive thingys, whatever those may be... But with us only having been married for a year, only in this small little place, you don't tend to acquire decorations like normal people.
Decorations amount to unnecessary clutter, and just one more thing to store in an apartment with absolutely NO storage. I can save that rant for another post though.
So, with no decorations to my name, I had to get creative and bring fall into my home in other ways.
My mom made this adorable sign a bit ago so I had to put it up.
I still haven't decided if I will claim it as my own, or actually give her the credit.
I guess this means I actually do have one decoration.

And my search for the perfect fall candle ended today.
Finally.
I was so impressed with everyones suggestions, but when it came right down to it, my nose had to be on board too.
This little beauty is deee-vine!
Seriously though, she is incredible!
I came home and immediately started the lady up and wow has she done nothing but impress me.

Actually makes you want apple cider, crock pot meals, and snow... Completely proving it is fall worthy, and an excellent purchase.
Yankee has never failed me.
Yankee has never failed me.
And what is fall without the perfect fall nail polish (regardless of a blurry picture)?
I really couldn't tell you, but it sounds miserable, let's just leave it at that.

This is my ultimate favorite nail polish.
And I mean ultimate.
Partly because OPI is genius and can't do anything wrong in my book, and partly because they call it "We'll always have Paris."

For those of you who know me personally, you can see how I formed an attachment to the thing.
No, it isn't cold enough to actually wear these babies, but it's at least time to take them out and sit them by the door and wish you could wear them because the time is slowly approaching.
I am a born-and-raised Southern California Girl, so I never thought I would say this, but wow do I love seasons.
I guess it helps when the summers are so gusting hot.
And then there are these funny people. They do look like funny people don't they? Sort of like those weeble wobbles who don't ever seem to fall down.
I have no idea what I will cook, or how it will taste, but who can have fall without spaghetti squash and butternut squash and any other sort of squash?
Ok, so maybe a lot of people... But they were fall worthy, so I put them in the cart to experiment.
You'll know how well it goes if you see them on my list next year.
And yes, my Husband does actually like squashes despite the pained look he seems to have in the background.
He is currently researching Turkey and Secularism.
Yeah.... I think that about explains it.
School: Certainly not a fun fall thing.
Fall bringing us one more semester closer to being outa here: Yes, now that is a fun fall thing.
